I had a pretty awesome weekend, I finally went to the "Anne Day" at Westfield Heritage Village. It's something I've been bugging Patricio to do with me for 3 years now. We drank raspberry cordial, fed apples to horses, looked at some heritage buildings, played "old fashion" games, and ate lots of yummy treats. It was a perfect day. In the church they had a question/answer period with this woman who was impersonating L.M. Montgomery, it was hilarious. Picture all these elderly people sitting in the pews (some dressed to the nines in turn-of-the 20th century attire), playing press conference. It was like being at a Star-Trek convention, only everyone likes Anne of Green Gables, and they all pop arthritis meds. I have no idea why I enjoy these kinds of things, sometimes I feel like I have a 50 year old woman living in my body (as I'm typing this I'm watching the Antiques Roadshow).

My personal favorite is the one of Patricio on stilts. He was screaming,"take the picture, take the picture, take the picture". All the while coming at me while on these giant poles.
